@The_Stainless_Steel_Rat, @missred and I are organizing a mini Dopefest for Saturday, 26 June at Arrington Vineyards at 4:00 in the Afternoon.

Come, bring hor d’oeuvres, drink wine, and still be socially distant.

We will be at The Barn. I will try to get a table near the structure and will bring my giant blue Umbrella tent to help keep the sun off.

You will probably want to bring your own lawn chair, since seating can be tricky.

Arrington does allow outside food and drink, but not outside alcohol.

I’ll be there if I can. What’s the heat index supposed to be? It looks live bluegrass, which is good.

It’s hard to predict the weather that far out, but it gets pretty wilty at that time of year. Make sure you bring plenty of ice water. It’s very easy to drink too much cold wine on a hot day.

After I get set up, I’ll post pics to this thread, to make it easier to find us.

If I make it I’ll probably be late. The neighbor (wife) tripped at the ball field and is in the ER with a (possibly) broken foot. Neighbor (husband) needs me to drive him back to the hospital after they get home so he can pick up the other car. So I’m waiting for them to get back from the ER.

Sorry I couldn’t make it - it was about 5:00 when I finally dropped the neighbor off in Murfreesboro, and 92 degrees and I was already hot and sweaty. I’m sorry I’m a wimp.

We missed you St G!

It was a lovely afternoon. I had already met Stainless_Steel_Rat, and Maus Magill and Mrs Maus are interesting and nice folks. We need to do this again sometime.
