Well, I’ve only seen six movies all year, but here they are in order of preference…

  1. Sicko
  2. Live Free or Die Hard
  3. Transformers
  4. Reign Over Me
  5. The Number 23
  6. Spider-Man 3

If you had told me in January that I would think of Spider-Man 3 as the worst movie I had seen all year, I would said you were crazy. But then here we are.

The only movies I’ve seen this year, in order of preference:

  1. Knocked Up
  2. Spider-Man 3
  3. 300
  4. Smokin’ Aces
  5. Music and Lyrics
  6. Grindhouse

I NEVER would have believed I would enjoy a Hugh Grant/Drew Barrymore romantic comedy more than a Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez action-horror collaboration, but there you go. Knocked Up blew everything else away, though.

As much as I would like to see Pirates 3, Die Hard 4, Transformers, and 28 Weeks Later, my girlfriend has no interest so I’ll probably catch them by myself once they hit the dollar theater. However, I will be there opening night for Superbad, without a doubt.
