Apparently CNN is planning another rally, this time for Pence. I can see trump crashing it in the middle, like Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, or more accurately, Krusty and Sideshow Mel.
Trudeau has not often reached his earlier heights in recent years, but that’s pretty good.
This is a very odd comment about US politics if you misread it as Justin.

Is he going to look adoringly at Trump during the debates?
Maybe his campaign song will be I Believe I Can Fly.
I always interpreted “happening” as “him getting elected or at least nominated.” The question has a lot less weight if it’s just asking if he’s running.
As such, my answer remains the same from 2020.
He’s the first guy to run after a sizeable number of his party wanted him murdered. Hope he stays alive but I don’t see where he has a lane to run in.
He said in one of his speeches, yesterday I think, that he wants to “push America all the way back, and then some.” I think that’s very evocative, and speaks exactly to the current US conservative movement.
He was that bad as Indiana’s governor.

While it is true he lacks overt charisma I’ll just remind everyone he did manage to get elected governor of a state and ride someone else’s coattails into the VP office.
Sounds like he’s running for Lord Of The Flies rather than President.

In many ways, he is running for Lord of the Flies. That’s how far out there the Reactionary Wacko party has become. Or at least how bad many of that party’s voters have become. And therefore a decent fraction of their politicians too.
Lord of the Flies was a dead pig’s head, or alternatively a dead fighter pilot. I’m not clear how that parses.
Now, if you’re saying he wants to be chief of a savage tribe in the jungle, I would disagree. Far too messy, Mother wouldn’t like it.
Remarkably, Pence is attacking Trump more strongly than any of the other GOP candidates. In his speech yesterday he said TFG was “unfit” to be president. He says he saved the country on January 6 by refusing to obey Trump.
I’m suggesting our society has degraded to a savage tribe in the jungle worshipping a flyblown corpse. Pence is running to be leader of the tribe. So not the Lord him/itself, but the leader of the slavering tribe.
Odd that he said nothing for the first 3.95 years of Trump’s presidency, then. Neither his silence on the one hand nor, alternatively, his cluelessness on the other speaks well of him.
