Back-in Parkers - You Bastards!
Despite the fact that I was a somewhat early poster in that thread, and understood the meaning perfectly well at the time, I keep seeing the thread title in the ‘Latest’ column and my brain, for a split second, interprets ‘Back-in Parker’ as a similar construction to the phrase ‘Nosey Parker’. What ‘Back-in Parker’ would mean in that assumed context, since the ‘Parker’ part would be a completely different meaning, is interesting. For that one split-second my brain sort of interprets the term as maybe someone who keeps annoyingly quitting and then re-joining things.
And after the split second passes, my brain goes ‘durrr, I already know what the thread means’
