Missing a posting milestone...

I was dimly aware that I was approaching 2,000 posts, not that I really attach too much importance to these things. Anyway I just checked and it appears that this will be my 2,009th :smack:

So, er, somewhere in the past day or so was my 2,000th post… and I didn’t even notice. I’d like to think it was something really important and worthwhile, but it was probably just bitching about ugly vehicles or something.

Ho hum.

I was 100 posts or so past 2000 when I realized I had passed 2000.

:checks own post count:

Oh. Oops…

I just worked out, my 10,000th is about 210 days away, if I keep up the rate. That doesn’t seem right!

I’ve blown straight through all of my milestones save the 1,000th - Gazoo set up a thread for me back when we could set up threads. Personally, I think it’s better that way - what you should be paying attention to is your sign-up date. I post far too many worthless, intelligence-sucking posts to make my post count meaningful in any possible way. But my sign-up date indicates I’ve absorbed or at least been *near * a good deal of wisdom for quite a while.

I hit big 300 a couple days ago. Woo hoo! Kilopost Klub, here I come!

Whaddaya mean there’s no Kilopost Klub? Well, there ought to be. I didn’t come up with that name for nothin’.

Heh. Nice timing.

I’d say combine that with your post count. It’s one thing signing up early. It’s another thing spendin time on the Boards. Some people sign up and visit maybe once a month.

Since most of my posts are made up of rambling on, blathering, inane nonsense, I don’t keep up with my post count.
