But…what you say is your 2000th, the machine says is 2005th. Is this one of them SDMB millinium kafaffles? Or did you just miss count the notches in your keyboard?

Post count indicators on already-posted messages keep pace with the current post count. F’rinstance, my very first post (if I cared to spend 1/2 hour looking it up) would currently read 15xx as the post count (forgot to check what my actual count is, but it’s in the 1500s).

So he posted this thread as his 2000th post. But he’s posted five more times since then.

Oh, and Hastur: the “monkey on your back” thing was the best I could come up with at the time. No, the two glasses of wine I had on the weekend are not still affecting me. (though what happened on Sunday morning is) Maybe I’m just… projecting. At any rate, I’m sure you’ll live to post more. :smiley: I look forward to your posts, and will enjoy seeing more of them in future.
