Mission Accomplished, my Rosy Red Ass

Sorry, my fault, I was comparing Carter to Presidents prior to this Bush.
This Bush is the worst President in my lifetime.

Jim

And it takes a Lot to make Nixon look good.
"Heckuva Job, Dubya…!"

Please don’t ever apologize to me for bashing Bush. Consider me a bottomless well of forgiveness for that particular sin.

I was listening to one of Bush’s recent speeches about ‘victory in Iraq’ and I swear to God, he sounded like he was whining.

Then I listened to some people saying they were for the war once but now it had gone badly, with 20/20 hindsight they could see that, and THEY sounded like a bunch of stinking whiners, too.

Hey, you stupid fucks, we liberals, we traitors, we America-haters, we were right all along, weren’t we? And if you weren’t the dumbest bunch of fucks ever to enter a voting booth, you’d have seen that in 2000. Hell, in 2004 you were MORONS to re-elect Bush.

You’ll get agreement from me about the current state of affairs, but no sympathy. I saw through the Chimp from the beginning. And I’m no genius. You’re a bunch of fucking idiots, however.

Ah, I was at this point of rage about 6 months ago as evidenced by my increasingly hysterical Pit threads about the moronic policies this man has inflicted on this country since day one. For this I was called a Bush-basher. No matter how many times I pointed out that it was his policies that I was bashing and not the man (even though he really is a fucking moron) there were still those who would classify my rage as a personality conflict.
I passed the rage point. The peak came just about the time he pushed through his torture initiative and killed habeas corpus. And then it hit me. There was nothing I could do about it. Nothing. Nothing but wait and hope that the rest of the electorate would catch up with me.
Good job, electorate! I knew you’d all come to see it my way.

Evil Captor, If I had the ability to search back past a year, I’d look at some of those old threads where the patriotism of you and I was called into question. A good portion of the board was pro-war, and a general sentiment was that they’d show us in good time. It would be fun to see who those morons were.

On the other hand, a little while back I searched on threads started on 9/11, just to see what the sentiment was on that day. In response to the terror attacks, one poster said something disparaging about Bush. Another poster responded with (and I paraphrase here) “How dare you turn this into a partisan issue? These attacks will NEVER be used as a partisan issue, so stick it up your ass!”

Take is as a compliment.

Hey, but on the plus side, he just might have kicked off the End Times!

sigh.

I think winning would, at the very least mean finding the weapons of mass distruction. I think we can all agree on that.

Tris

Get yer roll of shame right here. Wonder how many of the apologists in that thread are now ready to apologise?

I’m tired of bashing Bush. I’m tired of hearing the Bush bashing. He’s always been a poor fucking excuse for a human being, let alone anywhere near competent to wipe his own ass, and let way far fucking alone lead the country. And this has always been supremely evident as long as you pay attention to any media other than Rush fucking Limbaugh or Ann fucking Coulter. I mean, it’s really fucking hard not to see the occasional New York Times headline telling us what a drugged-out draft-dodging company-mismanager he is. What I’d really like to do is pit the myriad of fucking imbecile citizens who can’t be bothered to pay attention to current events to notice that he’s a fucking ass clown. And what more evidence do you need to come to the conclusion that this country is full of deliberately ignorant dumb-ass motherfuckers than the fact that we elected this same worthless piece of shit TWICE? And I’m including the lazy shitheads that couldn’t be bothered to vote, too. Even if the elections were rigged, if this country had any clue at all, we should have been able to elect almost anybody but Bush. And yet we didn’t.

So fuck all the ignorant, dumb-ass lazy American dipshits. Y’all get what you deserve. Fuckwits.

Education, my ass.

This is the part that I’m currently most distressed about. Nobody has any freaking idea how to pull this one out of the fire, so you get a “bipartisan consensus” – i.e., no one has the balls to say no – to send more troops. Just to see if it helps, you understand. I feel like we’re fated to do it, and I just know the Democrats are going to let us down by going along with the idea, however grudgingly.

Counting down the time to SA or Liam arrive breathless with the news that a rusty shell containing harmless gloop that was once, in 1987, dangerous, has been found in some long forgotten hole in the ground …

Meanwhile - because when these people are on the ground that is the time to kick the spleen out of the moronic, lying, sociopathic sacks of shit I present The Good News From Iraq National Review site

Glory in the 16 entries for 2006 (archive not updated since September, probably because they can’t keep up with the Biblical-like Flood of good cheer flowing out of Happyland).

Rejoice in the news that:

Pay no attention whatsoever to The US Marine behind the curtain

I’m forced to conclude there are two Anbar Provinces in Iraq. Either that or someone is a lying bastard.

Now who might that be? Let me think, it’ll come to me. But meanwhile - more Good News

Ponies! Ponies for everyone!

Al-Maliki? That name sounds familiar somehow. wait - isn’t that the Prime Minister of Greenzonia? The same guy whose country was too unsafe for him to meet President Gump in so they had to go to Jordan? And whose political allies walked out of Parliament because he was meeting Gump?

I hate these lying bastards.

“Bipartisan concensus”? I think not. This is the McCain plan. The first step in his campaign to become the next president of the United States.

Just for a surreality check, does anyone remember when there was a movement to add Dubya’s mug to Mount Rushmore? I think it was at that point that I resigned myself to the fact that I’m mired in a country of fuckwits.

Let’s not forget the Camp David Accords.

I think you’re thinking of the movement to add Reagan to Rushmore.

We already got Teddy up there, got the whole “war on false premises” schtick covered.

As to your “mired” remark, 'tis true, 'tis true. But democracy is a committment that is virtually faith-based, one has to believe. Democracy is not the best form of governance, it is simply the most just. For myself, I would rather be misruled by a vast sea of nincompoops that by an elite cadre of same.

Our Republic is an experiment, a work in progress, and it can fail at any moment. Ya gotta believe.

There was one for Bush as well.

I guess the fiasco at Desert One doesn’t count as loss of life or as an invasion? That “competence” is part of what caused voters to show him the door en masse.
