Wow. I didn’t even know you two were an item. Congrats!
Count me in, tentatively. And add my congrats to the list, too, I didn’t even know anything was going on there!
I am not sure, but I think that the words “Baltimore, Spaceland” in my Location, may refer to the same place you are talimng about. I am not sure, since I am too spacey to tell.
P.S. What part of Baltimore?
Congrats to both of you! Another happy Doper couple?
Holy crap, that’s a surprise! Sure, dopefest is GOOD. We can have it here, if you want.
Ginger, your location says, “Not so North” Odd, I always thaught that MD was “A Little Too South For Comfort,” not “Not so North”
Oh, and congraduations, Agent Foxtrot and Mississippienne.
Also, May fifth? I should be able to make it, depending on the location.
It IS a little too South for my comfort level. I’m from Canada.
Way to go guys!
Congrats to the both of you!
And also, damn you for moving to Baltimore! Move to Kansas instead!
Hooray for both of you!
Darn this state, being where it is.
Usually, I communicate with people hundreds of miles away from me. It is interesting to note that there are people here in Baltimore who are dopers. But, wait, how am I suppose to tell who is a doper, should I pass them on the street? That certain aura? The t-shirts saying, "I don’t do logical fallacies "?, No, the best way to recognize them is buy their pictures. Thus, I have searched the Teeming Millions Gallery for the pictures of Baltimorean dopers.
Agent Foxtrot & Mississippienne: for either, No Album Matches, No Photo Matches
UrbanChic: No Album Matches, No Photo Matches
gobear on the left, av8rmike on the right.
someone’s cute pet, which has no bearing on the thread, but came up when I searched “miss”
as long as I was at it, I tried to look up pictures of Amazon Floozy Goddess, and raz, but I found none. It isn’t that hard to sign up. :dubious:
So is Mississippienne going to become Marylandess, or keep the old name as a tribute to her roots?
As a descendant of Baltimoreans (maternal grandfather and grandmother respectively graduated from Johns Hopkins and what was then Towson Normal School), I wish you the special happiness that only a Doper couple can enjoy!
It’s interesting the mental images one conjures up for people one has never met. I always pictured gobear as thinner than his picture lets on.
He can bench press me. He’s full of muscle.
It is a well know fact that feeding salt to zombies makes them remember they are dead, or in some cases, brings them back to life. Here is a clearer picture of gobear, post-zombie cure.
Weak Sauce.
A few hours go by, and no more posts from more Baltimorean? A few heartfelt statements of how it’s nice they are together? Pssshaw, we can do better.
Here are some good things about Baltimore.

[li]In Fells’ Point, a New/Used Music Store, called The Sound Garden sells new and used CD and DVD for far below the prices solid in retail stores. Also, the 2$ bin near the door is now 1$. Also, spend more then $100 dollars in one sitting, and you get a reusable 10% off card.[/li][li]TheBook thing of Baltimore gives away free books on Sat. and Sun. They will soon be moving to a new, bigger location[/li][li]Both The Baltimore Sun, and the Citypaper distributes a variety of free movie tickets, some by going to places mention in ads, on certain days at certain times, and also on their web pages, different movies depending on if you go in person or to the web page. Unfortunately, I’ll be in FL the first week in May. But I always watch for MAD Fests, so if something gels when I’m not otherwise committed, I’d love to attend.
Well, well, well! I’m gone for a few days and look what happens. Now this is an unexpected development.
It does, however, explain the M’sipi gal’s pit-rant last week about having too many possessions. Possessions do tend to become an issue when one is contemplating a cross-country move.
If that “Horse You Came In On” joint is still operating in Fells Point, it should be a fun place to celebrate.
Best wishes to both of you.
