Your equivocation makes a great deal of sense.
Thank you! Can I count on your vote?
I’m already pledged to, and working hard on the campaign for, None Of The Above.
The blank lawn signs were pretty cheap!
You must understand that the way that the American political system is set up results in a minority of the population (Farmers, Ranchers, Moonshiners, Empty Acres Of Land…) having a disproportionate voice.
I’m fully aware of the argument, but it doesn’t make a lot of sense. You can still punish the guy for posting while leaving up the video, or even linking articles about the video, rather than letting the video stay up.
As for my other comment about the only other guy running: My understanding was that this was the only other candidate with a good choice of winning, based on what some people I know from Missouri told me. If they are mistaken, that is great. Maybe Democrats can register and pick one of them to win the primary, rather than having to hope they can use the outrage against the candidate to eke out a Democratic win.
I didn’t say it made sense. I thought TFG should have been booted a year or more before Twitter finally decided they’d had enough. My comment was to the point that if it took a freaking armed insurrection before they’d do anything to TFG, it’ll take a lot more than this stupid commercial for them to do anything to this shit.
Ah. I thought you were telling me why I shouldn’t be upset at Twitter. I had been optimistic, however, that they’d stopped this nonsense. It sure seemed so after 1/6, or with famous people getting blocks for spreading COVID-19 misinformation.
I still think they started reverting to old behaviors due to fears involving Musk. They’ve seemed to have a much lighter touch since he announced his attempt to buy the company. And I think that is stupid.

{…} it’s an immense jury pool poisoned in the unlikely event someone ends up indicted by its hugely publicized findings. {…}
It’s as if there is no memory of how Ollie North got his conviction overturned.
But we’ve been assured, by a Dr no less, that Congress has to go first because . . . reasons.

Greitens led by a little, with MO Attny General Eric Schmitt in second and two other candidates in 3rd and 4th before McCloskey (gun-pointing guy) in 5th.
Right. And Schmitt is the guy that sued multiple public school districts (including the one my kids go to) for requiring masks in school.
McCloskey, btw, is literally using the image of him and his wife pointing guns at protesters in his ads and on his signs with the slogan “Never Back Down”. It is not exactly subtle here in MO…
It’s quite the array of “talent”.
You work with what you got.
