MLB. And here comes the Post Season!

How does this work?

Replay the whole game or start again tomorrow in the 10th?

Resume in the tenth.

Really, how could a Cubs-Indians World Series possibly end any way other than with one team coming back from a 3-1 deficit, a Game 7 that goes to extra innings, a blown 6-3 lead, scapegoats all around, and a rain delay?
It’s only missing a walkoff homer, which I suppose is something only an Indian could deliver.

The game would be picked up from this point, in the top of the 10th.

But they’re going to finish the game tonight.

Unless the locusts get there first.

That’s what I thought

God is playing a cruel joke.

Oh, and it has to be a walkoff ***grand slam. ***Cubs leading 9-6in the twelfth or thirteenth inning, bases loaded, two outs, 2 strikes 3 balls, and an Indian smashes the ball into the stands (after multiple foul balls) to win 10-9.

I thought a game was only suspended if the visiting team tied the score or went ahead, otherwise it is a tie and replayed? Or is that Little League?

There’s a gap in the radar, with the big storm in Toledo. If this game goes as far as 1:45AM, expect the morning rush hour to announce the game’s still in progress.

The tarp is being removed now, so now the long battle begins.

EDIT: And if this battle goes as far as 1:45 AM, tomorrow is a friggin’ holiday.

EDIT II: All times CST. If you’re in Cleveland or New York, you’re definally calling in sick.

Joe Maddon has not managed this game well at all and that started with burning Chapman last night. I have not agreed with pretty much any move he’s made. Would have let it ride at least another hitter with Hendricks.

It’s Cleveland. Midges.

Heisenberg World Series. Both teams both win and lose.

I don’t really have a team in this, though as an NL guy I’m pulling a bit more for the Cubs, and I’m amazed at the sheer amount of stress I’m feeling watching this game.

At least the rain delay is about over.

I don’t see many scapegoats in this game other than Joe Maddon, who else would be blamed?

I can’t imagine anyone blaming Chapman for being overworked, Lester’s foils were easily made up in the other two innings. The missed bunt? I guess?

I know I haven’t left Maddon alone all night, but I seriously don’t see anyone else to blame that isn’t him for if (and I say when) the Cubs lose

I’m with you asterion!

Are the baseball gods trying to kill us?

I think I speak for all fans of both teams when I say “Welcome, friend.”

It looks like the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.

I’m really sorry not to be living in LA right now.

Baez and Maddon would be the scapegoats; Baez for that foolish bunt.

He didn’t do that on his own.
