MLB. And here comes the Post Season!

Heyward playing cricket.

MLB ought to be free-streaming the hell out of this game, but no. Best advertising for the sport it could possibly hope for. I’m listening on AM radio because I don’t pay for cable.

Is Bauer skipping balls to the plate because something is wrong with him, or because he knows Heyward will swing at it for some reason?

Check Twitter #worldseries

The tweets are flying like a swarm of bees

The game is on FOX, no cable needed, just an antenna

It’s on OTA. You can’t get Fox on an antenna?

Okay. Two runs. I’m sure the Cubs fans wanted six, but at least it’s exciting.

Heyward has had such an awful, awful season at the plate. It can’t feel good for him at all.
Then again, win the World Series and a lot can be forgiven.

I can’t. All I get OTA is PBS.

Well, that was a waste of loaded bases.

Think Maddon can call in the chick from Pitch?

Can’t imagine she’s any worse than Chapman…

Thanks for that.

And I agree. This game truly will be the subject of baseball lore for generations. It’s a hell of a game. Comebacks. Drama. Homers. Controversy. Game Seven.

I do have to say that after watching Japanese baseball for 25 years, I picked the right year to come back during the World Series.

Guess the Indians’ intentional walks worked out after all.
Anyone know anything about this kid Carl Edwards Jr.?

I know the Japan Series just ended; somehow I doubt it was anywhere near this exciting.

Though I do love the name Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. And to be fair, I just saw that game five of that series had a walk-off grand slam. So I guess I shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions.

…Extra Innings. Rain Delay.

Even Zeus had to be a drama queen. Rain delay – just long enough to make our nails truly bleed!

The first guy scored.

Okay, hands up if you predicted that it would be Carl Edwards Jr. (Carl’s Jr. Edwards?) in for the save attempt in World Series Game Seven.

How the hell is he getting paid 28 million a year over the next two seasons, and then another five of 22 million per?

No antenna. I don’t watch much TV in general, and what little I do I get via the intertubes.

At least I can feel old fashioned, audio only.
