MLB: October 2017 — Welcome to the Postseason

That’s all been good since 2004. But I’d still go for a 2003 or 1967 one.

I did notice that both pitchers were getting some strike calls on low pitches. The TV guys were much better at pointing out the ones that hurt the Dodgers. When it happened to a Houston batter, they seldom replayed it.

Personally, I have no dog in this series. (but the Fox guys seems to have their favorite)

Welp, made it to my first World Series Game. Been waiting 29 years. Thousand bucks for a bleacher seat. Stuck in a dead stop on Stadium Way for a half an hour. The 100 degree heat was not as bad as I thought it would be. It’s a dry heat! $14 for a Budweiser. $50 for parking. I started to get super sweaty by about the 6th inning.

Completely worth it. Go Dodgers!

I kind of hate you. Well done, sir!

Asimovian:

In that heat, I’m sure he is now!

You didn’t do it right unless you didn’t sit down until the 3rd inning, and got up and left before the 7th was over.

That’s for regular season games. For post-season we try to arrive early enough and stay late enough to make the over-priced beer almost worth it.

Okay, put the single that scored the first Astros run in a blooper reel. I’ve never seen a ball bounce right off the brim of a hat before. Lucky, lucky break for the Dodgers that it didn’t go to the wall.

Boo-, I say Boo-

Ya!

Go, Cory!

Seager and Pederson. Always someone different ever night. Verlander proves to be human after all.

Would someone shoot the suit who decided to insert ads into the middle of live innings?

Resolved: Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa are pretty good.

If you can’t shut them down in the 9th, you can’t win. Basic truth.

Good game, Astros.

I think the Dodgers can take at least one in Houston to force a game six. I’d like it a lot better if they take two in Houston and have two shots at winning at home.

I was about to say, don’t give up quite yet.

Told ya

Well, Yogi was right that it ain’t over till it’s over, but I really didn’t see the Dodgers getting two in the bottom of the inning.

Holy crap, what a game!

Dude! C’mon, man!

With the way these teams play, nothing surprises me. I have no vested interest in this game, except I’m slightly pulling for the Astros.
