MLB Playoffs

Here we go… :crossed_fingers:

The starters acquitted themselves reasonably today, But there’s enough game left for things to fall apart for someone.

I expect things to fall apart…then come back together…then fall apart…then…

Why the Guards haven’t IBB’d Stanton all series I will never know.

I told them. Nobody listens to me.

That will be one of the great mysteries.

Meanwhile, we’ve now moved onto the Musical Relievers part of the game.

Juan Soto!!! :star_struck:

Holy crap. Yankees have too many big hitters, and Cleveland gave them an extra out in the tenth. 3 unearned runs.

Cleveland deserves to lose, what horrible decisions

OTOH this series has been big on this sort of thing.

And there it goes… now to find out if it’ll be the subway or the redeye.

Start spreading the news.

ALCS CHAMPS! The Yankees are going to the World Series for the first time in 5 years!! :tada:

15 you mean.

And Soto just got himself one stupefying check coming his way with his upcoming free agency.

Just realized that somehow I didn’t type the “1”…d’oh! Thanks.

Cleveland was my last hope for a salary underdog team. Now we got #1, #2, and #3 left. Oh well.

Japan is going nuts for everything Shohei Ohtani. That’s all I’ve been hearing about for the last month.

Yankees vs. Dodgers? Yanks in 5.
Yankees vs. Mets? Yanks in 3 1/2.

I’m so happy for those poor Yankees fans, who have had to wait so long to get back to the WS and vie for their 28th championship. I don’t know how they’ve endured it.

The struggle is real.

Painful even.

There are many Yankees fans, some as old as 17 or 18, who have never seen their team in the Series. They finally – finally – see their dream come true.

(Brewers fan here, at 42 years of waiting, and counting. Nope, not salty about it at all.)
