MLB: Postseason 2015

That takes a lot of the fun out of the 2 best bunts ever by DeShields.

Boy, this postseason, huh? Freakin weird play for sure. I hate it but it’s the right call. Really don’t like Choo sticking his bat out there, intentional or not.
2 errors in a row to start the bottom of the 7th and the Rangers may blow this anyway.

What a bizarre inning.

That was a legal slide at home. Bases loaded, 1 out for Josh Donaldson. Right where the Jays want to be.

Another take-out slide where both the runner and the batter-runner would be out if MLB was really interested in helping keep players safe and enforcing its own rules.

That was a perfectly legal takeout.

After three errors in a row.

After one of the strangest plays I’ve ever seen, let alone in post-season. Raygun99, the ump should have never tried to called time. I think he was confused. That was a live ball.

Watch baseball for 50 years, and you can still see something you’ve never seen before.

Baseball is so boring.

No shit. This inning is going to go down at the absolutely most boring ever inning. Tying run scores on a force at second, that sort of thing.

According to baseball’s rules, there’s no such thing as a legal takeout.

Considering that it was a force play at home and sliding is the slowest way to reach the plate, the only reason to slide in that situation is to take-out the catcher.

Of course, the Rangers didn’t help themselves at all with 3 freaking stupid little league errors.

Or giving up that 3 run homer.

I don’t think they’ll need to review that one.

The baseball gods are capricious bastards.

There she goes!

Yeah. That’s why it’s been called as an illegal play for the last 140 years.

I’m pretty astonished at the way the Toronto fans are acting. This is not at all something I would expect from Torontonians, and regardless of the outcome of the game, they should all be ashamed tomorrow.

I can’t believe I’m agreeing so much with Harold Reynolds. It’s eerie.

Beltre looked like it was all he could do not to kick that ball into the stands.

Rangers body language has changed dramatically.

I’d be real surprised if Andrus has ever made two errors in a game before, much less an inning.

What’s next? There’s still 2 1/2 to go.

I actually agree, although it’s much easier to now. The ruling is correct, but you need to have faith in an ump’s call.

He’s done it several times, actually. Against the White Sox this year.
