Its over the top to suggest they can even predict a series. The first ones are 5 games. They are less predictable. The world series is better but that is still too small a sample to decide the best team. A few years ago ,who would have predicted the Tigers would lose the series because their pitchers could not throw the ball to first base?
A season is a far better sample, but how often are the c=baseball geniuses wrong about them? Even with all the data available in baseball, you still can not predict the game very well.
I just like to take little jabs at people who feel confident in predicting. Also the ones who assume they can decide which team is better.
Oh yeh, people who are dumb enough to claim the Yankees are a way better hitting team than the Tigers.
