It doesn’t have prune juice? You mean my grandpappy was wrong?
Oh, the humanity!

Ewwwwwwwwwwwww! Dr Pepper! That stuff is gross!
Dr. Pepper is a pretty good soda. My second favorite, after the king of soda’s…Mountain Dew.
I have to ask (pardon any stupidity, just woke up), why is it so special that he knew the ingredients? Couldn’t people just look on the side of the can for them?
My fav!
Ditto. I’d drive by and say “you know, next weekend, I ought to drop by…”
I may be one of the few freaks out there that ADDS stuff to their DP. Normally I drink it straight, but if I’m at work I add fresh squeezed lime juice to mine. MMm mmm good.
IDBB (who also once marinated a ham in Dr. Pepper…)
There is a tech at the dealership I work at that drinks 18-20 diet cokes per day.
The Dr Pepper Museum has a giftshop, for those with unmet needs to declare their loyalty: this is where I got one of my Dr Pepper T-shirts (I won the other this spring in their Great American Trek giveaway promotion).
I had a Dr Pepper made with real cane sugar last week. Damn, that was good.
I get it in glass longnecks around here. The plastic bottles are available, but it tastes better out of glass - most sodas do, to me.
Yum yum yum. One of the things I was looking forward to about moving to Texas was the availability of Dr Pepper. Most of the restaurants have it here, while almost none have it in New York.
Yes, the fine refreshing taste of a Dr. Pepper. As a matter of fact, I am enjoying a Dr. Pepper right now. Yum.
Yes, yes, It surely is the elixer of the Gods.
My favorite way to drink it is to have a can of warm and a glass of ice. Chomp on ice till mouth is good and chilled than shoot a big swig. It just shocks the tastebuds into bliss.
Come to think of it. Out here in California I’ve noticed all the fast food places have Mr. Pibb.
I haven’t seen Dr. Pepper at a restaurant or fast food place for years.
They have a new Mr. Pibb out now though, Pibb Extra I think it is, I tried it the other day… I gotta say, DP has some competition!
I’m sipping a tasty, cold Diet Dr. Pepper right now.
Here’s a cite for the no prune juice claim.
…<gasp!>…must resist…temptation…to crawl into basement for cold…Dr…Pepper…aaaaaaa!!!11
<crawls away as quickly as possible leaving a long, slimy drool path to mark the way>
Mr Pibb is the Coca-Cola knock off.
Dr. Slice is the Pepsi knock off.
Dr. Thunder is the Dr. Pepper knock off. However, it actually tastes like DP and is much cheaper, though I feel like a traitor every time I drink it.
About two months ago I was drinking about 12 cans a day, but in this heat, it wasn’t too good. I decrased my intake to about 8 per day at most, with a little Gatorade thrown in to balance things out.
I like Dr Pepper a bit more these days, as I find it to be easier on the stomach.
Don’t forget the Walmart/Sam’s Club knockoff, Dr. Thunder. Which actually isn’t all that bad, even though it pales in comparison to the real thing.
IDBB, how’d that Dr Pepper ham come out? I’ve got me a canned ham in my refrigerator right now…
