It may or may not be going to storm here. It’s cloudy and the wind is blowing but it looks like the storm may go around us. Oh well. Anyways, it has cooled things down a bit so there is that. Hee! I turned the sprinklers on in the backyard a little bit earlier. That should automatically bring rain, right? I toyed with the idea of running through the sprinklers, but I didn’t. Oh, and my lesbian buddies left us some brownies! YAY, for lesbian friends who bring homemade brownies. I forsee a warmed up brownie (or two) some ice cream and hot fudge sauce in my near future.
I’ve two beagles. Quincy, the older one would pass on walks (he gets at least one every day) if the weather sucks. Now that Nordberg, the puppy (AKA “Rocketdog”) is in town, Quincy can’t afford to give up shitty walking days because that means SHE gets to go for a walk while he naps.
Furthermore, we run out of beagle when it’s hot outside. They go out for pretty long walks (I’d say about 4 mile walks) every day. Quincy doesn’t pass them up, though. A Powerpoint presentation on the phenomenon will be created relatively soon.
Quincy is maybe 6 or 7 (he was a pre-owned beagle) but sometimes acts like he’s 12 or so during his walks.

Nice progress there FCM. However, there is an issue that must be addressed. This business of not putting a sink in the soon to be basement bathroom is just appalling! One cannot take of one’s business without washing one’s hands afterwards. Therefore, you have an excuse to go buy the sink for the one day to be remodeled master bath, so you can put the current sink in the soon to be basement bathroom. You have to have a sink! The very idea! :eek:
Brownie(s), ice cream and hot fudge sauce is a good thing. Just thought I’d pass that fact on to anybody who did not already know this.
There will be a deep sink in the studio - quite sufficient for hand washing, clear up past the elbows. In fact, you can see the deep sink next to the washing machine. Perhaps a bit inconvenient, but not as bad as having to run upstairs to potty.

Well, I’m glad the sink problem is solved. I can now calm down from the shock and indignation of it all. After all, I’m southern, so I’m genteel dammit!

The local Thriftway had Ben & Jerrys pints 2 for $4.00 last time I was there. They were out of Cherry Garcia, but I got Chunky Monkey and Butter Pecan. So there! [sub] I wish I had a brownie to go with. le sigh[/sub]
Because I don’t live close enough to swampy to stop by for a brownie with ice cream and fudge topping, I had double-fudge brownie ice cream for dessert tonight. So there
