First off, I love this song.
Second off, Gwen Stefani from No Doubt is always credited somehow with this song, but I’ve listened to it a million times, and I can’t hear a woman’s voice in it. Did she write it, or what am I missing?
Love that song.
And you can’t hear Gwen singing?! That’s odd. I have a hard time hearing Moby singing below her. Hmmm…
So she is singing? Geez, I’m listening to it right now, and I swear, I just can’t hear a woman’s voice. But she is singing? I’ve always wondered how her name got attatched to the song.
Yeah… she’s singing. I promise.
Ever see the video. It’s such a cool Mobyesque video.
But is she singing?
Just kidding.
Yep. Definitely her. She sang it with Moby on Late Show about a month back. A couple of weeks ago, Moby appeared on the Tonight Show and sang the same song, but this time with an African-American woman (member of the band?) as back-up.
Great album altogether, by the way. IMHO.
Album version: No Gwen
Single version: Gwen
Both versions are on the single:

Not that Moby sounds particularly manly on the album version, but it’s definitely not Gwen singing.
You sure about this? Really sounds like her on the album…
But I could be wrong.
The album version is all Moby.
Gwen’s singing very low on the single, but if you see them do it live/watch the video, you can tell which parts are her’s.
