I think we all owe a huge debt of gratitude to Tuba and Dex for their work during the early years of the board. Their fairness and wisdom in setting up this place were really what distinguished it from so many other boards that have since fallen by the wayside.

Yes. I hope they leave with a good taste in their mouths instead of mostly remembering some of the big arguments.
Regardless of what side we were all on of certain board issues, they did a hard job for a long time.

Dear new mods: if you want to start off on the right foot, consider earning the goodwill of the board as a whole by figuring out a way to give posters who make terrible puns a nice electric shock.

Considering all the positive changes to the board I’ve been seeing lately, I’m a lot more encouraged to post here regularly again.
