Gotta say congratulations (or is it condolences?) to the new mods, and many thanks to the retiring ones. In particular, I have exchanged emails with Tuba and Dex on several occasions, and they have always been pretty reasonable about things.
Like manhattan.
But…but…but with Tuba gone who do I go to begging for reinstatement the next time I’m suspended?

Clearly she has a fever and is not thinking right if she wants to be a mod. She has read ATMB at some point, right?
Guku and I never crossed paths that I remember but the other three will be in my prayers and thanks for ages to come. As posters and mods, they made me welcome and made this place fun. We ever meet up anywhere, the food and beer are on my tab.
So that’s how they got you to be a mod — hacked your computer and agreed for you. Tricky!!!

I didn’t know Tuba or Dex in the beginning, but I really appreciated and admired their patience and persistence in explaining things to people tirelessly in more recent days.

Congrats to the new Mods, at least until they piss me off. 
I’m sad to see some of those veterans leave. I know twickster took a lot of flak here, but she’s the only Mod the wife and I have met in person, in Philadelphia three years ago, and I have no problem with her (despite a thread of mine she closed that time!). Tuba Diva was always helpful in private communications.

I’ll second this. You who are leaving have done a great job, and you who are arriving have big shoes to fill. I’m sure you’ll do just as good a job though.
I will say that I’ll miss seeing twickster’s “Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Moderator” tag. You new folks–get creative!
