Cecil and Ed don’t get to participate–they’d win automatically. Neither does jdavis (I don’t know who that guy is, but he sounds too important).

Q.E.D.s not a mod, he’s on the Straight Dope Science Advisory Board (SDSAB).
Mods have moderator under their name and Admins have Administrator. The list of Mods for each forum is at the bottom of the forum page.

What about former mods? Would they get any role in the fight?
I get the feeling that Lynn would say “I’m not having this” and just pick up a metal folding chair (which would materialize magically out of nowhere for her) and start whacking heads until she was last Mod standing.
That’s just my feeling.

I stand by my Lynn/Coldfire tag-team as the ones to beat. 
xash, the new guy, would be getting the participants cola drinks between rounds. TUBADIVA and Lynn Bodoni would engage in such a battle that would put this year’s Boston/New York ALCS to utter shame.
