I was just curious if “behind the scenes” the mods ever get in disagreements over where threads should be?
For that matter do you mods ever argue about anything board related other than the content of a particular thread?
My understanding is that Vince McMahon has access to the Moderators’ Forum and takes copious notes.
We mostly just discuss where a thread should be, with various people saying “Ewwwwww, I don’t want that in MY forum!” We also discuss policy sometimes. I think that we get along amazingly well, considering that we all have pretty strongly held opinions on various issues.

Whenever a board matter comes “center stage” here at the ATMB, every mod has their own take on things. It’s sometimes amazing when a thread garners 4 or more mods and they all come at the thing from a different angle, focusing on distinct aspects of the topic.
And it’s scaring the smaller children, the ones who still think Mom & Dad will both have the same answer to “Can I have a cookie before dinner?”
I am in complete agreement with Lynn Bodoni and have nothing to add to what she said so eloquently.

I dunno. At the post-Sept.11 pick-a-nick, the NY mods were bragging that they could beat the Chicago mods in a cage match…
… while the RI mods were busy nailing down the pay-per-view rights.
Well, in this thread Ukelele Ike found some shit in the Cafe and dumped it MPSIMS instead of GQ because he was more afraid of manhattan and JillGat [sub]especially JillGat[/sub] than he was of Coldfire or UncleBeer (despite Unc’s shotgun).
I beat David at air hockey and outwon Manhattan gambling in Vegas. (Also won a bet with Colibri, but he’s a Straight Dope Science Advisory Board expert - not a moderator). Ed Zotti falls for all my lies. Do those count?
