Modern car movies like the Fast&Furious serial?

I googled what movies were similar to Fast and furious, so modern car races, tuning,etc, but the lists I got were really bad, movies from the 70’s and sci-fi/apocalypse movies, nothing really about modern (1990+) cars or the same street race genre.

I myself know about the Transporter and Taxi series and have watched all of them, including the off-spins and while those are some of my favorite movies, they still aren’t in the same genre. Also the German series Cobra 11 which is more of a police chase thing, but is one of my favorite series.

Is it possible that a street racing genre that has tons of popular games like Need for Speed games, Forza Horizon games, Burnout paradise, Test drive unlimited, The Crew series, Midnight club,etc. has only a single movie series dedicated to it and nothing else?

And there was Redline.

Neither set the world on fire, neither led to a series.

What works in a game doesn’t necessarily work in a movie. The street racing part ceased being the point of the F&F franchise a while ago.
