Mole II: July 23rd- Analysis and Prediction

Yes!!! For the first time, I get to make the Mole thread!!! Oh yes. Sweet.

I think Al is going to go, because he’s…Al. He’s good, but he’s no match for Heather or Dorothy. And Bill is the mole.

Al was executed. I still think Bill is the Mole. I think Heather or Dorothy will win. It was fun seeing Kathryn from last season.
Yeah, it definitely was. I love predicting these things. I’m pretty sure Dorothy will win the game.

I have nothing but admiration for poor Dorothy and the cockroaches. I don’t know if I could have done that. I think I’d have been out of there the first time a roach fell.
Oh yes, for those of you who haven’t seen it yet…Two words: Tiny Bubbles. You’ll know what I mean in a little while.

[spolier]Heather is so the mole
Nah, Heather’s not the Mole. Bill has to be. Dorothy’s just…well, I don’t think she is anymore.

Tiny Bubbles was hilarious. But I don’t know who Don Ho is either.

And Anderson’s Fun House was hilarious. “Go sit with my girls…”

Ho, Don (b.1930): Hawaiian singer. Though apparently known very well in Hawaii, is pretty much famous for one song…Tiny Bubbles.

I figured Don Ho would be involved after Anderson pointed out the size of the bubbles after Al complained. (“They’re only tiny bubbles.”)

Anderson’s Fun House is unique, to say the least.

“eniw eht ni selbbub yniT”
“Paul is dead. Paul is dead.”

I fell asleep during the Liar part of last night’s show. (It was just a teensy nap!) Could some kind soul give me a recap of how that part went. I’m guessing Bill didn’t figure it out since he didn’t get an exemption. (And I still think Heather is The Mole. That snake looked pretty well fed. I don’t think Heather was ever in any danger!)
And what was the deal with those icky worms at the beginning of the show???

Too bad Krybaby Katie got executed a while back. I would have loved to see her flip out in the bug chamber or the snake room. “OMYGODOMYGODOMYGODOMYGODOMYGOD {sob sob}” :stuck_out_tongue:

Hell, the bubbles would have flipped her out, and she’d have bolted screaming and crying from Coop’s Funhouse.

I’d love to see Coop’s TV Funhouse as a weekly series.

annie-

When Al, Heather and Dorothy were told they would have to try to fool Bill, Al suggested that Heather and Dorothy switch stories since they had been able to discuss their experiences the night before.

Before the interrogations, Bill got a glimpse at the cockroach room. I don’t think he saw the snake room, and he definitely didn’t see the bubble room.

Heather was the first to be questioned. Bill just asked her what room she was in, and she told him about the little mesh cage and the roaches, using a lot of the same words as Dorothy did. I think she claimed she managed to stay in the cage with the bugs the whole time.

I think Al was next. He told Bill about the loud music and the metal bed, but I don’t think he mentioned the bubbles or the bright light and disco ball.

Dorothy was last. She talked about being in a cave-like room with no windows and a boa-constrictor (though Heather was very clear that it was a python). She didn’t explain the bit about the lights being turned out until Bill prompted her for more info. She also mentioned she could hear the snake hissing- Bill said he didn’t think boa constrictors hissed. Dorothy did a pretty poor job, if you ask me. But that’s pretty typical of Dorothy, isn’t it?

Everyone was brought into the same room, and Bill went through each person. He guessed that Al was lying, because he should have been able to sleep through the song (because he can sleep through Bill’s snoring).

He also guessed that Heather was lying because she freaked about the maggots in the box, so he didn’t think she would manage to stay in a cage with bugs. I think that was his rationale.
Bill is clearly the mole. No doubt in my mind.

Anderson was funny. “This is my house…my mother built it for me when I was very small.” He’s just so awesome.

One of the cool parts of the game is the interaction between players. You can tell Al had quite a lot of…well, antipathy for Dorothy. He is completely open and un-Mole like, and she’s tres mysterious. He jumped right on her when she hesitated, and then when he came to see D and H in the morning, it’s D that he questions, despite the fact that she actually finished her challenge.

I guess they had people watching to make sure Heather wasn’t in danger, because it does seem kind of hazardous to put someone in a room with a snake, especially in the dark. Even if it was well fed, couldn’t it have strangled her or something?

I think the maggots were just a taste of what was to come. And it sort of shows their reaction. Al and Bill are contemplating eating bugs if they HAVE to, while Heather and Dorothy are all the way across the room in an instant. Bill picks up on this when he’s trying to decide if Heather’s lying or not.

Actually he thought Heather was telling the truth and Dorothy and Al had switched stories. His rationale being the boa constrictors not hissing. And the snoring.

The Fun House was awesome! Looking back on it, poor Al had to stay in the most evil room of all. He will not get that song out of his head for a LONG ass time. That was one diabolical setup. I love the writing on this show. Brilliant.

Anderson was a riot talking about his house and his dolls.

Only thing I didn’t care for was the card game. Totally luck-based. I wish the game was something that involved at least a little bit of strategy.

I doubt Heather was in any danger. I’m sure the snake was de-venomed, de-fanged and de-whatever else they do to snakes to make 'em safe to handle. And I don’t think all snakes have the ‘strangling’ capabilities like the boa constrictor. I wonder how long they planned on keeping her in there. I’m guessing 5-10 minutes, but I guess we’ll never know.
