Had an interview this morning, and I got offered the job!
It’s only one day a week regular, plus random extra days as and when, but it seems like a nice place, and one day a week is a lot better than no days! It’s within walking distance of the house, which is good. It’s mostly answering the telephone, for a plumbing company.
I shall away shopping later, though I doubt I’ll be quite at the cham-pag-nee level of celebration, a decent bottle of wine may happen.
Nuts, yay for the new gig! May it turn into a full-time gig soonest.
N.O.L. has been ingested. A tuna sallit sammich and some chips. Not excitatin’ but it’ll do for now. In a bit I shall leave to go enroll Mr. Smells Like The Tail End Of A Four Day Drunk. My daughter has an interview today for a job she already interviewed for. I take that as a good sign - they still want to talk to her. Not going to say much more since I don’t know all the details, but good thoughts would be appreciated.

Today I finally decided to break down and buy a shower stool and a handheld sprayer. I debated between that, adding an additional safety bar, or buying a portable bath tub. I even checked out bath lifts but I think I am not ready for one of those. It would help with getting in and out but would probably add to the feeling of not being able to breathe.
I finally picked out the rug I want and the curtains I want. Although I’m still debating getting one for my bedroom.
I swear I am like the horse that would starve to death between two bales of hay.
I find that if you can’t decide between two things the proper answer is both 
Howdy from da cave! I survived yet another day. YAY! I stopped at the sto’ and picked up some fried chikin. That and various vegetative matter from da fridge shall be dindin. Don’t judge me!
Sari if I ever get around to redoin’ and enlargin’ the shower in my masterbath, I will have a shower bench installed. I don’t need it, yet, but I think it’d be nice to have for when or in case I need one. As for the whirlpool tub, I don’t use it often myself, but OYKW lurves it so I’m glad it’s here.
I am givin’ Mr. Smells Like The Tail End Of A Four Day Drunk one more chance. I have to because he’s a veteran and vets are a priority service category. This place is within walkin’, or in his case, staggerin’ distance from where he lives, so no excuses about can’t get there. I can still refuse if he shows up smellin’ like alcohol however.
