I have my DVR set to record all first-run episodes of The Daily Show and the Colbert Report from 11pm-midnight east coast time. For the past several weeks, it hasn’t recorded any Monday episodes.
Are the shows running only Tuesday through Thursday? Or is there some weird glitch in my system?
It is in reruns this week (and next). There was a stray Monday rerun a couple of weeks ago, but I don’t recall any other Monday reruns during the past month.
you aren’t alone, my DVR’s been doing the same thing. But have no fear, they often have 3 episode weeks, with Mondays as reruns. Cuz, you know, having 3 day weekends just ain’t enough for those hardworking guys on cable…
It seems to be all reruns so far this week.
Which makes sense, as they usually take a week of reruns after the Emmys and other weekend industry events in LA.
Rerun weeks are obvious. And boy do they take a lot of rerun weeks for a show on only four nights a week. Jon and Stephen must make a fortune on personal appearances on weekends.
It’s those missing Mondays on otherwise active weeks that goof me up. I’m glad that fusoya is seeing the same effect.
