The Christian Science Monitor has an article about tone Joe Wurzlebacher - aka Joe the Plumber of recent fame. It looks like someone has quickly ghost written a book about Joe and his beliefs and it will be out soon. So the unlicensed plumber is making the rounds of right wing media to promote it. And in doing so he is attckign the very man who created him as a media personality - Senator John McCain. It is sad that we no longer count Boris Karloff and Collin Clive among to living to reprise their roles when the film version of the book is put to screen.
What did you expect him to do? Accept responsibility for embarrassing himself in front of the entire country when there’s a buck to be made and a politician to blame it on? The mere suggestion is un-American.
Bread Good!
It takes a village… to torch a Frankenstein.

and my children turn on me, Joe’s behaving the same way Sarah did, do you think I made a mistake, splitting the brain between the two?

Um … not sure why this one is on the Great Debates board. Is Joe’s idiocy really debatable?
It could probably bear explaining. I know the original clip between him and Barack Obama, and he hardly seemed an idiot.
Yeah, I see him as more of an unscrupulous opportunist than as an idiot.
and Joe is offering memberships to his website for only $20 per year and you get a free signed book… no Ginsu carving knives however.
To me Joe symbolizes that basic hypocrisy in the Republican party: try to appeal to the blue-collar lunchbucket crowd who shops at Wal Mart but once elected , don’t do a darn thing for them.
Yep, that.
Dumping McCain as soon as he turned a liability and jumping on the Palin wagon is a clear sign.
The reason any interest was even paid to him in the first place was due to his stated, strong desire to make an annual two fitty or more. Given the choice of using a pen or pipe wrench, I agree it’s hardly surprising which he’d find most attractive.
Especially since you don’t need a pesky license to “write”.
You still need to pay taxes, something Joe the Fraud has never been very good at.
