Went and saw it Friday night.
Not bad.
It seems though, that most kids movies are geared toward adults.
I’ve seen about 8 kids movies in two years and in none of them do I ever hear the kids in the audience laughing.
It was great animation, and a sweet story involving a villian.
I am glad it ended the way it did. I would’ve felt cheated if it hadn’t had such a happy ending.
Boo!
Kitty!
my son (age 6) laughed hysterically through the whole thing
I (age 28) laughed hysterically through the whole thing.
well yeah we did too
I thought the movie was pretty good and I’ll likely buy it when it comes out on DVD. Seeing it in the threater, though, involved constant chatter and occasional crying from children who were somewhat kinda watching the movie.
Okay. What did you find funny?
There was that one moment only for me, wehn the pinkish monster sortof closed the door on another and didn’t mind.
Mike Wazowski!
I wonder how many REAL Mike Wazowski’s there are.
I have three little ones and I took them to see it on Sunday. My daughter, Katie, 5, sat transfixed. My oldest son, Elijah, age 3, liked it, but sat on my lap during the few ‘scary’ points (not that there were many). My youngest son, Ben, 2, watched all but about the last 20 minutes. He was still occupied with the movie even if he had no attention span left. It was his first movie theater experience. We all left smiling!
Saw it, loved it. Took the kids. Boo reminded both of us a lot of our 2 year old. Not scared of a darn thing.
Oh, and the short before the movie? It rocked!
I went with my mom, my fifteen year old brother, my aunt, and my spoiled five year old cousin and I still managed to enjoy it while it lasted. I left the theater saying “Mowsky Kowsky” over and over again for no good reason. Of course, it was all ruined when my mother decided she wanted to take me home(where I have not only no clean clothes, but also no bed but the couch)instead of bringing me back to my dorm.
