Montfort and Anniz: The Wedding

At least your Elvis performed well. <–grumbleling Raven’s fan. Seeing it on the web was really cool.

Congrats, you two! I tried to watch, along with everyone else in #straightdope, but apparently, I had to upgrade my version of RealPlayer and didn’t do it in time.

Definately cool!

I raise my glass to your happiness!

Damn you people and your fast modems! I wanted to be first to congratulate 'em!

Anyway - me and Valkyrie caught the whole thing on RealPlayer - lousy video, lousy sound; you could only hear Elvis when he swallowed the mike while singing.

It was one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen in a long while.

Congratulations, you two. A long and happy life together.

[sub]Cool! Now I have a reason to celebrate Swedish holidays![/sub]

Hooray!

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Montfort!

<clapping and throwing rice>

::Skips out onto the floor and does the tarantella in quick succession with the beautiful bride, Francesca, Shayna, screech-owl, and Jonathan Chance (just for the hell of it)::

Cent’ anni and mazel tov!

Zappo

WOOOOO, the room is spinning. Thanks for the dance, Zappo!

Someone pass me a glass of champagne, please?

Dagnab it…an hour late and a dollar short. I miss everything.

I tried to go to Montfort’s website to find the archived pics, but I don’t know which one is their wedding; there seem to be a ton of them.

Any help to a moe-ron doper, kids?

i was walking the streets of nyc when the happy moment occured. back in philly now, so:
CONGRATULATIONS!!!

We got back home late last night.
We had a great time,
right now I’m very tired and a bit owerwelmed by everything.
I’ll write more later and I’m sure Montfort will too.
Just wanted to make a quick post and say once again,
thank you so much everyone,
and it feels good to be married.
I also did 2 pictures that you can see now,
it will be more later.
The first one is us in the limo going to the wedding,
the second one is us celebraiting.

Anniz, you made a beautiful bride. I’m sure the two of you will be very happy together. I wish you all the best for a long and happy life.

Cheers!

Whoa, big boy!

Buy me a drink first!

Congratulations Montfort and Anniz. I viewed the ceremony this afternoon and it was lovely.

How exciting! You both look so happy. I was a little worried about the 2nd link. My mind is in the gutter today because I took “celebrating” to mean something entirely different! Congratulations.

Congrats! You both look beautifully happy.

Best wishes to both of you.

I just got to see it today. I am so happy for you both !
(And yes, I cried, I’m just a big softy but don’t tell anyone else please. )

y’all look fantastic!

your ring looks great on monfort’s hand.

Thanks for the link, Anniz.

I’m watching it right now!

It’s lovely — quite possibly the best wedding ever. You and Montfort look a little blurry in realplayer, but you both look so, so happy.

I’m very nearly about to start crying.

It was a wild but great weekend. We got back into Washington around 2am on Monday night, and work was hell for me yesterday. Since I couldn’t get online all weekend (thanks for bumping this in my stead, Olentzero), I haven’t read the boards since Friday.

The wedding started a little later than 4.30, so they didn’t turn the webcam on until then. The quality on the webcam is pretty poor (did anyone grab some static images from the non-video cam? E-mail me if you did.), but the videotape we got is great. We’ve watched it a few times already and have cracked up over it each time.

We’ll be bringing the videotape with us to Jonathan Chance’s Dope-a-ween party on the 27th of October, but I’m hoping to digitize it beforehand to put online, too.

I also have five rolls of film to develop today, and my lovely bride is busy today cleaning up and uploading pictures from both of our digital cameras.

Viva Las Vegas!

Wow, Michael you look SO grown-up!

I, too, missed the actual webcam event; what name should we be looking for in the archives…?

The still-cam seemed to be broadcasting a different wedding - some cowboy-themed affair with a fence in it. I kept refreshing to see if it changed but it didn’t; last time I checked the celebrants had all disappeared and the fence was completely destroyed.

Looked like fun, though.
