I have never been to the Gay Pride (or any other, sadly) parade. It is supposed to happen this Sunday, and although they mentioned the streets, i’m not familiar with them.
Can any of the Montreal Dopers direct me how to get there (and what time it is supposed to start) by metro?
The parade (supposedly) starts at 1 p.m. on Sunday and will go along René-Lévesque from De Lorimier to Saint-Hubert. Here’s the route. You can use Papineau, Beaudry, or Berri-UQAM metro to get to the parade route.
Keep an eye out for me – I’ll be in the NDP contingent.
Don’t forget to stop by on Saturday for the Community Day on Sainte-Catherine between Saint-Hubert and Beaudry, between 11 and 6, where all the local community groups have their tables. Again, I’ll be with the NDP table between Saint-André and Saint-Timothée – stop by and say hi.
Good luck to you, I know this means a great deal to you personally and politically. I expect to see a tell-all catalog of your scandals in 20 years as evidence of your might and influence!
