The cancellation of the American part of the tour is due to Michael Palin. He claims he’s too busy doing a solo show, but that’s just a flimsy excuse to get out it. He doesn’t want to do any more tours with Python.
It really is over.
It’s pretty obvious that Palin has been lukewarm, at best, about any Python reunion, since Chapman died.
Why am I now wondering if Michael and Sarah are related?
Maybe they could run together next time? Palin/Palin 2016!

When Chapman was in Baltimore doing his solo show, I got him to sign my copy of the script for Holy Grail.

It would. VP and Pres have identical qualifications. What good is an emergency back-up president, if he (or she) is not qualified to be president.
Correct - see the last sentence of the 12th Amendment, ratified in 1804: “…But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.”
Well, if Terry Gilliam married Michael Palin (which is legal now in England), and adopted his name, Terry Palin nee Gilliam could then run as Vice President. Except for that pesky business about getting UK citizenship and renouncing his US citizenship. But getting back US citizenship is surprisingly easy. And no doubt wouldn’t hurt his political prospects at all, especially when paired with Sarah.

Below is a Daily Mail page that at least has a clip of little bits from the show. Since it’s the Daily Mail, some of the side stuff might be NSFW. And the clip has the dancing girls from the end of Meaning of Life and their costumes are fake but risqué to some.
Reviews are so-so to really crappy.
That clip is very sad. These guys are old, especially Cleese. I’m worried that one of them is going to drop before the 10 show run is over.
Nice that Carol Cleveland is fully part of the show.
