monty python

is monty python an acquired taste? (for lack of a better term) I don’t find it funny.

Yes.

no

This isn’t an argument. This is just contadiction.

If I am going to argue I must take a contradictory position.

It’s…

no it isn’t

ding

Sorry, time’s up. Good day!

To seriously answer the OPs question:

No, I don’t think that it is. Everyone I know who likes Monty Python (read: Everyone I know…) liked it almost immediately. If it doesn’t work for you right away, it’s probably not your cup of tea. Repeated viewings will likely just annoy you.

To answer the OP with a Python-esque non-sequitor:

BURMA!

Splunge!

The Larch!

ALBATROSS!

Oh, go and change your armor!

You don’t find it funny?

… an UNBELIEVER!

Persecute the heretic!

BURN HIM!

(but what if he’s not a witch?)

I’ll have spam, spam, spam, eggs and spam…

I’d like to answer this question if I may in two ways: Firstly in my normal voice and then in a kind of silly, high-pitched whine.

Please! Please! This is supposed to be a happy occasion! Let’s not bicker and argue about who killed who.

I wasn’t expecting the Spanish Inquisition…

How come there are no minorities in Monty Python? Where are the Latinos?
