Story:

Solsken hails from the Northern Country. A bit taciturn at first meeting, he is the friend of any animal, and will warm up to people after some time spent together. He and his animal companion the merlin falcon Stjärna wander the wilds for various reasons-to commune with the Spirits therein, to increase his knowledge of the natural realm, or just to take in the sights. He is not totally averse to city life tho, and has a half-sister in Denmark that he often calls on.
Still working on the spells, depends on what the 1st day is like…question-I should get 7x3=21 skill points, but the program didn’t apparently give me the 3 bonus ones I chose. appleciders: I made one last skill tweak (tho I didn’t add in the extra 3 yet), so this supersedes the PM I sent you. Some people are listing their alignments, some aren’t; how much of an open book should we be to each other? I’m also keeping my main backstory a secret as well. Not sure if ac is interested in or will tolerate in-party intrigue or even conflict-his thoughts on that would be greatly appreciated.

Looks good. I’m still waiting on stats from Larry Borgia and stats and story from Calatin.

I am just now restarting playing the game (every Wednesday night, BYO whatever) with a DM who knows 3.5. I am hoping to get some pointers on play from y’all. I didn’t notice a sorcerer among the team. Did I miss that, or do y’all have enough spell-casters that a sorcerer would be redundant?

I found a character gen app called PCGen on Sourceforge, I ran my character through it and got a few minor differences. Do you have a format you prefer? I intend to use this to track my player from now on. If you want a new sheet I will send it to you, otherwise, I’m done tweaking.

So I downloaded the PCGen program that Gospel mentioned (it’s pretty slick) and it turned me on to the fact that the advanced book has a bunch of extra bard stuff in it.

Pardon me while I jump back into my character stuff. My backstory isn’t going to change (at least not substantially or substantively), though, so I’m ready to start whenever.

After some discussion with some Pathfinder numberheads, I’m also going to tweak my character a little, swapping DEX and WIS (so now I’ve got 14 DEX 12 WIS). They assure me four rounds of growth are more than enough when the going gets rough since you hardly ever survive more than two anyway, and who am I to argue ? :slight_smile:

Pathfinder has so much damned crunch in the character building, even for a low-level PC.

With this party, I particularly agree. If the fight goes on for four rounds, you folks are in trouble. The sucker punch will be your best friend.
