The premiss is that tattooed skin made for nice lampshades. Judaism forbids tattooing of the body, so such skin would be in limited supply depending upon the amount of non-observant Jews.

I’m sure many of you cooks out there have preserved fruit in a Mason Jar. Common sense would dictate that the process should be called Masoning or perhaps bottling. But it isn’t. It’s called canning. This is because it is named after Sir George Canning, who invented this method while being the Ambassador to Portugal. He used it to preserve lemons.
