So I got an email from someone about this totally random guy. And being the doper that I am, I went to check on snopes for it. No luck. So I turned to Google. And the first site I checked had the following OPer:
tigger4jdt.
I am not making this up.
Oh, and the email doesn’t really check out . . . earlier versions site the Columbus Dispatch Newspaper, which has no record of the story. Do a search for “Teary Valley High School” or “Teays Valley” or “Girls/Guys I liked” or “People I liked” . . . the guy’s name is Brian Moore.
 I graduated from Teays Valley in 2000. There were several people with the last name Moore, but I don’t remember any Brians. Checked the 1998 year book, no Brian Moore.
i read those threads (only partially- 7+ pages equals novel length!) and i dont really see any more than a guy with psychotic issues about his weewee. who? what? when? why? where? is this guy a sordid shadow in the SDMB’s past?
what article? and, more importantly, what the hell?
Those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about don’t know who Jack Dean Tyler is/was, or who tiggeril is. She’s a member of the SDMB, and has been for about as long as I have (nearly a year, I believe). It was just a bit of a shock seeing “jdt” and “tigger” even without the “il” in the same name. I see that most of you who don’t understand came after JDT was banned, which was the day of my “Religions of the Near East” Final, if I recall correctly. It was around December of last year, at any rate, which might explain why someone with a March 2001 registration date has no clue who he is.
Basically he was a nut. And anyone who remembers him will understand that statement and the slight problem with it;)
Oh, mighty_maxx, I got this email from someone I know from a really pathetic debate, and it was about this guy who died and had written this story for a “fellowship of christian athletes” meeting. And as the SDMB has taught me to be wary of this stuff, I went to check it out. That’s where I saw the screen name.
