To the Polish dogs:
“Huch*, boys” (here)
“Zaich*” (scram)
“Chill, boys”
To Kargan the Cat:
“What’s up cat bro?”
“Time to go big dude.” As I pick him up and carry him out of the room.
“Damn, you are a shedding machine!/How do you have any fur left?”
“You’re just acting cute so I pet you aren’t you? Well, it worked.”
*This is the anglophone spelling of Polish words. I long ago gave up learning Polish pronunciation rules, since their written language was developed during the Great Vowel Famine.
Noir Kitty must be a direct relation to Kargan the Cat. I seriously don’t know how they do it. Kitty sheds so much that I keep checking him to see if his hair is at least thinning but it’s as full and luxurious as always.
This morning I was telling him, “Next time I’m getting one of those bald cats.”
The Big Crow said from the kitchen, “No, we’re not. They’re ugly. We’re keeping him.”
There’s no question we’re keeping Kitty as long as he lives, but I bent down and told Kitty, “I’m getting two of those bald cats.”
(I wouldn’t though. I don’t like when people exploit a genetic flaw in a pet like that.)
The Siamese only shed when they are stressed. Since they rule the roost that doesn’t happen much. I on the other hand am stressed daily by their demands. I would be bald if my hair fell out because of them.
They are very beautiful, soft and sleek and perfect*.

Had to yell at both Dixie and Doxie this week. “GIVE IT UP!”
Both caught beasts of the field. Doxie managed to eat about half of his before I wrenched his jaws open. Take a look at the one Dixie caught (First picture) Pretty damned impressive, if you ask me! :
I think the photo is of the intact prey. it seems to have all of its parts. I’m suspecting some North American wildlife I’m unfamiliar with - or the aforementioned very fat rat with an odd tail.
Gato…I hand it to you. Most people with weenie-dogs pamper and spoil them. I have always thought of them as compact hunters with a real hound nose. Your dogs are living their best life. Good on you!!
Their adventures are fun to hear about.
Yep I’ve googled some images, shudder Glad we only have ordinary rats here. My big ex feral, The Dood has just been treated for a rat bite on his “ankle” that wouldn’t heal. Surgical investigation revealed a piece of rat tooth wedged against his bone https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/images/smilies/eek.gif The Dood chases foxes but ol’ ratty was too much for him.
