Most Recently Seen Bad Movies - Warn Others

That’s my question.

People seem to really like it or really dislike it. I wonder how many of the people who disliked it also disliked the first one as well…and the same with liking it.

Oh man, that movie is the worst I have ever seen, hands down. And my mom is a midday movie fan, so that’s saying quite a bit. Man, I would’ve chosen a movie with a talking dog in it over this crap.

And I liked Secret Window, **Lost in Translation ** and Shrek 2 :frowning:

To further prove something I should not be proving, that was not the original Yellow Ranger in Cabin Fever. She died in a car crash a few years back. This was the Yellow Ranger from Lost Galaxy (so says IMDB).

And the Pink Ranger is only Amy Jo Johnson. There are no other Pink Rangers.

None.

Underworld is one of the greatest movies ever made. Of course, if you like movies where the good guys wear white t-shirts with “good guy” written on it, and bad guys wear black shirts with “bad guy” written on it, you probably won’t like it. If you don’t like Underworld, you definately won’t like The Usual Suspects.

Uh, are we talking about the same Underworld, here? As in the movie from last year with vampires, werewolves, and Kate Beckinsale in extremely tight clothing? Because I really don’t see what that has to do with The Usual Suspects.

Lost in Translation. I saw no point to this movie what so ever.
The Village. I looked forward to it for months. What a let down.
Ancorman. Some parts were ok, but most of it just wasn’t funny.
I really liked Spiderman 2 though. BTW, is the Blaire Witch Project any good, like at all?

I thought Shrek was OK and had some moments, but found it (in parts) quite irritating and (as a whole) monstrously overrated. Certainly nothing special, certainly not as good as Monsters Inc. and certainly not entitled to the first Academy Award for Animated feature.

But reviews kept saying this one was better. It wasn’t. I laughed once, and I found only one character (Puss) remotely likable and/or well-played, and the things I found irritating about the first they managed to repeat ten-fold. I only hope The Incredibles knocks everyone so hard on their ass that people will forget this turd once the next Oscar season comes around.

Depends on who you ask. I thought it was cool, well-acted, and quite scary, although I admit it was a bit slow to really get going. Others think it was a tedious, nauseatingly-directed pile of crap about people you just wish would die sooner.

See it, and join the debate!

The Life of David Gale was unbelievably bad all the way through.

The Dopers prevailed again! Tonight I saw The Bourne Supremacy. OH. MY. GOD. I didn’t like it at all. The camera moved around so much I couldn’t even focus what was going on, because I couldn’t see anything for all the moving. Parts didn’t make sense… ug. I haven’t seen the first one, but after that, I don’t want to.

Ack! Go. See. Enjoy. (I own the first one on DVD and watch it every now and then.) The first is at least 5 times better. The fight scenes and the chase scenes are shot in a much crisper manner and what is going on is almost always clear. In the Bourne Identity, you can tell that the actors are well trained and choreographed because the director isn’t lazy with the camera. (It also helps that the director (Doug Liman), is not the spastic ADD poster child that the director of Supremacy appears to be.[sup]*[/sup] In addition, the characters have clearly defined motives and are actually three-dimensional. Please do not judge the decent first movie based on a shoddy sequel.

[sup]*[/sup][sub]No offense against those with actual spastic ADD is intended, and should not be inferred[/sub]

I’m a bit hesitant, but I’ll put it on my Movies to See list.

I’ll cast another vote for The Hulk. I didn’t mind them changing the Hulk’s origens, but they spent way too long setting up the action. Basically, it’s one hour of second-rate drama glued to an hour of non-stop mindless smashing.

I liked Shreks 1 and 2, with the second coming in with a slightly higher approval rating than the first.

I got peer pressure’d into watching Day The After Tomorrow, and it was all I’d dreaded it would be. Absolutely abysmal, I spent the last half of the movie staring at my watch trying to make the seconds tick faster by sheer force of will. The bit where the wolves appeared made me laugh, it was so Simpsonsesque.

I saw School of Rock for the first time a couple of days ago, and it was ok. Not spectacular, but ok.

50 First Dates was pretty good, but more of a chick flick which is why the guy who liked Billy Madison probably didn’t like it so much. I preferred Mr Deeds.

So I heard. I trolled for plot spoilers just to confirm that, yep, the “twist” ending was exactly what I figured out when I was subjected to the trailer, but that pretty much ended my interest in the matter.

I was impressed that the kids were playing their own instruments.

Don’t see Dodgeball. DON’T SEE DODGEBALL! It isn’t even close to how funny Starsky and Hutch was, and S&H reached quite a bit for humor.
