There is a meme me and my husband were having a lively discussion over. It is “Who is the best crackhead?” and it had screenshots of four different movie crackheads labeled Bubbs, Ezell, Gator, and Pookie. Half the fun was naming the actors and movies. But that’s not my question. After figuring out the actors and movies, we both remembered a harrowing junkie scene in which a (thieving?) junkie was forced to put an umbrella up his butt and open it. Although the scene was shocking enough we both remembered it, we could not place the movie or the actor.

One thing we are sure of, this movie is at least 20 years old. Any guesses?

No idea, but for me, ‘harrowing junkie scene’ = Requiem For A Dream. Though that’s really a harrowing junkie movie.

Sounds like something from a prison movie.
