The first one is Body Heat? :dubious:

Answers in spoilers in case I’m right.

1. Terminator
2. Time Bandits
3. Back to the Future
4. Flight of the Navigator

I have no idea.

Am I the only one that finds this a creepy little grouping?

Were all of these movies adapted from Patrick Stewart’s screenplays?

Flight of the Navigator? wasn’t that the movie about the kid kidnapped by aliens who shows up in the future/present younger than everyone else?

Yeah.

Last week I was browsing Amazon and came across it and it was only $4 or $5 and I bought it because I loved that movie as a kid.

ETA: I just checked and it’s $4.72.

#1 sounds sorta like Rear Window, with Jimmy Stewart.

I thought American Beauty, which just barely qualifies as pre-2000.

They all sound like incredibly boring softcore porno movies.

I want to see these movies.

The first one made me think of “Animal House”.

That’s, umm… Goldie Hawn playing opposite a blind guy. She sees him gazing and gets annoyed enough to do the “Here, is this what you wanted a glimpse of, happy now??” approach, to which he is if course oblivious. title… Butterflies are Free, possibly?
No clue as to any of the others.

yes. See opening scene HERE: Take Two: Cactus Flower & Butterflies Are Free - YouTube

  1. American Beauty?
  2. (no idea)
  3. I’ve seen more than one movie like that, can you narrow it down some?
  4. (no idea, but I want to know!)
  5. Again, seen that scene more than once (iirc…)

National Lampoon’s vacation?

3.) Seems to be “Flash Gordon” to me, with Dale and Ming just after she is captured by him, but before she’s being prepared for the wedding. I’m pretty sure the bed is round, but I can’t remember if it actually rotates.

4 One of the Austin Powers movies?
