Movie scenes recalled by a single word

I don’t think anyone is going to get the second answer, so I’ll just reveal it. In The Sting, Johnny Hooker blows all of his money by placing a bet on a fixed roulette wheel. It comes up 22, a clear reference to Casablanca.

Verbal Kint, his infamous stroll on the sidewalk @ the end of The Usual Suspects? ‘‘Limp’’ would be better 4that one word clue tho’

And here I was thinking “That’s some catch, that Catch…”

There (, there. There, there.)

Personally I immediately thought of this:

The first scene that comes to my mind when I hear “leg” is NOT from a movie—it is the character from “Spongebob Squarepants” who always says “MY LEG!!!” when he is injured. (It is running gag on the show.

I know that is NOT the scene the poster meant but I thought part of this post was a word association game of what scene we might recall with a single word

‘Leg’ made me think of Jaws, when the guy rowing the dinghy trying to warn the boys swimming in the sea is dispatched by the shark.

Correctemundo.

Balthazar.

“Leg” could also bring too mind King’s Row.

Is “Correctemundo” a new word, or is a previous guess correct?

Wow! That was fast.

It was in my density

Applebee’s

I said it upthread and at first I got the impression @The_Other_Waldo_Pepper thought it was a new clue, with the answer being ‘Pulp Fiction’. Speaking for myself, I was just saying it to be cool, like the Fonz.

I thought so, but it sounded like it could also be from a movie.

Sedagive?!

Was there any doubt? :grinning:

I guess not.
