Pretty much ANYthing with Keanu Reeves is funny. Either intentionally, like Bill&Ted, or unintentionally, like everything else he’s done. Did anyone see this guy in Much Ado About Nothing? The 16th century Spanish prince’s brother sounds truly remarkable with a surfer-dude accent. The rest of the movie’s delightful, but man! How that schmuck ever got the part of a Shakespeare villain is a real puzzle.
I saw The Haunting. I actually liked a lot of the special effects (I saw it in a high-quality theater, so that helped), but the dialogue was soo horrible. A lot of it wouldn’t even have to be MSTed!
“Get out of there!”
“What?”
“The flue! The flue!”
“What flue?”
“You know…the big giant lion-head flue that swings down and almost got us killed last time?”
“Uhhhh…”
“Just shut up and get out of the fireplace, or you’ll DIE!”
“I don’t have the flu. I feel fine.”
CHOMP
Or how about that “grandpa” line? I almost pissed my pants laughing.
Also, as for Deep Blue Sea, I never saw that one. The previews were enough to keep me from the movie.
Woman: We used genetic enginerring {or something} to give the sharks bigger brains. As a result, the sharks got smarter.
Well, DUH! No shit Sherlock! sigh
I also believe that Batman & Robin should be MSTed. I watched that movie for about 10 minutes (on TV, I didn’t pay for it, thankfully) and then changed the channel in disgust. It would be perfect for MST3King.
Mission To Mars.
Deep Impact
The Haunting
The Flintsones in Viva Rock Vegas
Deep Blue Sea
A freind of mine had an interesting idea. MST3K doing a porno. I think that would be hilarious.

This place has it ALL!
“The Scarlet Letter” - the single worst movie starring Demi Moore (which takes some doing). It manages to be more inane and pointless then “Showgirls,” while at the same time wasting the time of great actors (Robert Duvall and Gary Oldman, and adding in teh insult of destroying a great piece of fiction. All the movie needed was to be name “Nathaniel Hawthorne’s ‘The Scarlet Letter’.”
I agree 100% there. “Dude! Iambic Pentameter rocks!”
Why oh why has no one mentioned Judge Dredd??
Lost Horizon (The 1972 musical(!) version)
Deadly Friend (Wes Craven horror flick)
You think Keanu in Much Ado was hysterical? The Prairie Theatre Exchange in Winnipeg had him playing HAMLET!
This is like the third of my older threads to be resurrected. I’m wondering if I should be flattered. Eh, sure, why not.
Anywho, I have an addition to this list: Hard Rain with Morgan Freeman and Christian Slater. The fiancé (then boyfriend as referred to in the OP) and I came across it on HBO, and whoo Nellie, it stunk. Really stunk. Countless impossible scenes, lame stunts (tap propane tank=KABOOM!), lamer effects (shoot organ keys=organ pipes sounding?? Who pumped it with the air first??), and far lamer dialogue. Yes, overall, it was lame.
MS3K, where are you…
About six months ago, My wife and I went to go see the film “Stargate” at the home Of some friends of ours. The group consisted of three women and their three husbands…As the film began, us menfolk could not resist the urge to begin with the MST3King of the movie, dispite threats of violence from the women. It reached its peak during the scene when someone pulls the helmet off one of the bad guys to show that they are human…In this case a very dark human…“Oooo been out in the sun too long”.
We were banished.

Don’t be mean here.
Personally, I think that Keanu can do a quite credible job as Hamlet.
At the very end of the play: after Hamlet utters “The rest is silence.”
Anyone else suspect this summer’s Charlies Angels remake will be a good candidate?
Oh. My. God. You’ve had this movie inflicted on you too? My friends and I went out one evening and looked for movies that looked cheesy-bad… and ended up sitting through this ripping it to shreds at 3 am. ::shudder::

I think they should do that movie about the zombie thread that attacks again, 10 years after the show was (tragically) cancelled.
What was that called, again?

On the plus side, it’s refreshing to see how many of these dreams came via Riftrax . . .
Welcome to the dope supermariofan. You’ll note the post above yours is from 2000. You’ll get more traction and responses if you start a new thread in Cafe Society. People tend not to post on zombie threads.
The Day of the Dead remake should be on MST3K
(see whut i did thar?)
