The Shawshank Redemption
Usual Suspects
Schindler’s List
Marathon Man
The English Patient
Out of Africa
Unforgiven
Finding Nemo
Shrek 2
(* I haven’t seen the recent Pixar movies since my niece suddently said she was “too old” to see those kinda movies. But, someway, somehow, I do plan on seeing “The Incredibles.”)
Movies I have seen that my twenty/thirty-something circle of friends have not seen:
Shane
High Noon
The Collector
Bridge over the River Kwai
North by Northwest
Dog Day Afternoon
The French Connection
A Clockwork Orange
Chariots of Fire
Amelie
**Kill Bill ** 1 or 2
Any **Matrix ** movie
Any of the **Friday the 13th ** or **Nightmare on Elm Street ** movies
Any of the **Austin Powers ** movies. Or anything else with Mike Myers, for that matter - he nauseates me. Titanic
There’s a much longer list of movies I *wish * I hadn’t seen, but that would take up a lot more bandwidth.
Forrest Gump And I remain adamant about it! Schindler’s List The Color Purple (started to watch it & the first 5 minutes were too, too sad) City Slickers – the opening credits got on my nerves!
As a former movie critic, and one of the top contributors to the Internet Movie Database, I am ashamed that I have not seen these pictures:
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002)
The Usual Suspects (1995)
Memento (2000)
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (1966)
City of God (2002)
Amélie (2001) (I feel asleep through much of it, through no fault of its own)
The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
Goodfellas (1990)
Once Upon a Time in the West (1968)
The Matrix (1999)
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)
The Pianist (2002)
Spirited Away (2001)
L.A. Confidential (1997)
I didn’t grow up anywhere near a theater, so I never got that awe of watching movies as a kid. I still don’t have it. It would be easier to list the movies in the preceding posts that I have seen, because I haven’t seen the rest:
the Austin Powers movies
Spinal Tap
The Wizard Of Oz
The Godfather (probably all of them)
The Sound Of Music
Some of the Star Trek movies (couldn’t tell you which ones)
It’s A Wonderful Life
Bridge Over The River Kwai
I did, however, see Ray last weekend, as I considered it a must.
Chastain, I’ve never seen Grease either. Middlecase, I know they were attempting satire, but for me (and many others) it just didn’t work. It came off more like a Nazi propaganda Bughunt flick.
I’ve always thought It’s A Wonderful Life was incredibly depressing, for the most part.
