Movies You've Liked That No One Else Has Ever Seen

I have an overwhelming fondness for the weird and strange when it comes to the movies and I’ve found the best places to find them are at Netflix and the $5.50 bins at Wal-Mart.

I’ve picked up The Golden Child (Eddie Murphy, Kung Fu and Tibetan magic), The Phantom of the Paradise (70’s Paul Williams in a disco era Faustian mish-mash) and, my fave so far, Mars Attacks!.

:stuck_out_tongue:

The Beast and A Midnight Clear are a couple of war movies worth checking out. The Beast is about a Russian tank that gets separated from its column during the invasion of Afghanistan, and A Midnight Clear takes place in the Ardennes forest during World War II when a US recon squad discovers a German unit that may be trying to surrender. Oddly enough, both movies have scores by Mark Isham, which I bring up for no other reason except for purposes of obscure trivia!

Then there’s Midnight Run, a hilarious action movie far too few people have seen. Marvin, watch out!

EZ

I saw this, too–and I loved it!

Nobody’s seen Dangerous Beauty? Crappy title (‘The Honest Courtesan’ works so much better) for an excellent movie.
