Just an update: The chicken dinner the other night was good. And he did remember the fritters.
Last night, we had a little birthday thing for my sister’s boyfriend. We had pie instead of cake because he doesn’t like cake. I liked the pie, but Mr. Jeannie did not.

Our principal announced at our staff meeting that she has been promoted to a district position. She won’t be coming back next year.
She’s a wonderful principal, very caring and understanding. She is well-organized, and extremely supportive (and yet firm). In fact, she is the reason I chose that school for my teaching.
So next year we get a new principal. There are all variety of assholes, incompetents, and marvels out there in that profession and position. Here’s hoping we get the latter.
