Mrs. Tygr is leaving me...

I love you babe!!! I miss you a ton!!!

Anyhooooo…Thanks for all the good wishes. After spending all day yesterday attempting travel while sick (with I suspect is a sinus infection - BTW, ears don’t pop well on planes with sinus infections - ouch)…I got to eat at 9:00pm in KC and then tried to sleep with somebody’s stupid car alarm going off every few minutes until 4am. AGGGGGGHHHHH.

I am settled in and finally have the chance to logon.

The people here have been great, except one coworker that drives me nuts (Tygr, you know who that is). I am an independent worker and don’t need or like to be micromanaged.

Oh, and I am totally innocent of any stories you may hear about any fun in KC. My coworkers won’t even let me participate in the free happy hour because I am sick. Yuckky poo…

I can’t wait to get home and see my Tygr. I love being so in love with him. It is so fun. I am proud of our relationship.

You don’t have to pack, since I know you are worried about packing correctly, but cleaning is really nifty. Now get off the computer and call me. I am in the hotel waiting to hear your sweet, sexy voice.

Get some sleep Thursday night, since you will be up late Friday…ahem. (Nudge-nudge)

Love you love you love you love you love you…you get the idea.

Oh, and babe, watch those thread titles, ok?

^^^^
Heh. That’s my wife. She wuvs me.

Rest up, baby. Take yer med’cine. Yer gonna need yer strength on Friday night!

{{{{{{{{{{{{Mrs. Tygr}}}}}}}}}}}} and a big long sssmmmoooooch!

Two things I didn’t mention earlier…the boss came and got me at the airport shortly after talking to Tygr the other night. He didn’t even get checked in fully when the desk told him to come back and get me at the airport. Cheers to Embassy Suites staff!

I am giving two weeks when I leave, 'cause it’s the thing to do.

Oh, and Tygr… I took my Veetamens and am drinking lots o’ fluids and will aim for rest, but working these long days isn’t good for that.

Love ya bunches…

How can I be such a retard? How could I have not knocked on wood? :frowning: Well, guess who’s going to a convention this month? Yep, psycat is going to a wine convention this month with her job. It’s only a few days, and it’s only a few hours away but, she’ll be gone!!! Crap!

I think I’m going to be very, very, very “medicated” that weekend…

:frowning:

Shit. I knew it. I knew as soon as she told me she’d be working in purchasing that there was going to be things like this. Whenever you work with vendors and stuff, you always end up going on trips like this. What really sucks is that she got hired as permanent all of today, so I have all these scenarios running around in my head that make it even worse. Like, ok, this month, a 3 day conv. a few hours away; June, a week in Chicago, September; 2 weeks in France, etc, etc, etc…

Of course, she hasn’t mentioned anything like this but… Eh, best not to go on without my blanky. :: sucks thumb and cries ::

Planes with sinus infections?! I didn’t even know planes had sinuses…

My baby’s coming hooome tonight!

Slight pause whilst I do cartwheels around the room…

Alas, the enthusiasm is slightly tempered by the report that we’ve gotten our visitor. Unexpected timing. Though it is good news, for reasons I may elaborate on in a future thread (NOT for the reason you may be thinking).

Democritus: Oh, MAN, does that suck… May I suggest you start a thread here during that time? The good feelings you’ll get from other posters will help take your mind off the time and assuage some lonliness.

A wine convention? Maybe you could get her to angle for a case of the good stuff from the host company. Free alcohol would be almost adequate restitution.

Silver Fire: Haw! Though with the airlines trying to lower the amount of fresh air they have to pump in during flight, planes might as well have sinuses. Just gonna be big sinus infections waiting to happen.

Hey Tygr, congrats on…umm…it being Friday! It now looks as if psycat may only have to attend 1 day of the convention, so she would just be gone for that day. (crossing fingers) Still, I believe a case of wine would be in order for taking my honey away from me for a few extra hours…

I am home sweet home with my very own Tygr.

I managed a flight an hour and a half earlier. I got myself on standby in Kansas City. I got to Cincinnati and got a ticket 10 minutes after I got to the gate. Instead of arriving home at 10pm on a puddle hopper, I got home at 8:30pm on a 737. Considering the turbulence in the area that night, that is a big deal.

The really bad part, :frowning: is that I came home with a Sinus Infection and quite severe bronchitis.Tygr is taking good care of me and after sitting in an Urgent Care facility for 3 hours, I have lots o’ drugs to take. Yay! They are helping.

The most important thing is that I am home with my honey. Now, we have to pack for the move. (Ugggh)
