Well … there was Experiment/Episode #904, “Werewolf” … and there was Experiment/Episode #809, “I Was a Teenage Werewolf”. Since I personally have the popular music knowledge of a grapefruit, I couldn’t tell a U-2 song if it walked up and bit me. Do you know any other details about the episode in question?
Hmm, I’m not sure if it’s ok to talk about filesharing progs, (so please remove my post as appropriate), but I’ve had luck using Kazaa for MST3k much better than using eDonkey or anything running off of the .net system. I’ve even got some of the old KTMA episodes. Uff da.
If downloading isn’t your game, here’s a site you can order them from as VCR tapes or DVDs (but not anything released by Rhino or the Fan Club).

Recommendation: Start off with episode 306, Time of the Apes. Hillarious.
Which could very well be it since the robots and Mike sing a medley of a bunch of songs during the end credits of the film.
“One night in Bangkok makes a strong man crumble!”
Yas, it vas #904, Varvulf. It’s incrodabul! I just vanted to tell you bekoss I’m very concerned about your wallaby.
Over the credits, they sing just about every song other than “Where the Streets Have No Name.” (“Here comes Santa Claus, Here comes Santa Claus, Right down Santa Claus Lane! TUSK!”)
The U2 reference comes when the varvulf is standing on the top of a building, holding his hands up and looking at the people on the street below.
I still say my favorite part is during the painful varvulf transition: “Oh… if I could just… fart!”
or “I dun’t know vhat to believe in anymore!” “Try believing in ESL for a while.”
or “He’s dreaming of slimy cat puppets!”
or “American Werewolf in Traffic”
or “Is he stalking it because it’s the weakest gas station in the herd?”
I’m watching Catalina Caper right now.
It hurts.
Thanks so much. I just went through some of my old books I got for Christmas a couple of years ago and I found…::drum roll:: The Amazing Colossal Episode Guide to MST3K. Ahhhhh-Mazing!
