Mullinator's house party

Well not really. But, if i ever decide to have a party, it can be at my house, because my wife and I put a contract down this weekend. 2200 square feet of Mully related fun and frolic are sure to be had in our lovely new 1 story abode. It has the coolest kitchen in the world which was a deciding factor. Assuming everything goes according to plan, we will be moving in on July 28-30 (weather permitting. If you want to make a bet on when the drought will end in Georgia, put your cash on those dates.)

For those familiar with the area, it is off of Webb Gin House Road, unincorporated Lawrenceville. Housewarming gifts (Fridge, Washer, Dryer, etc.) are appreciated and expected. Obscenely expensive gifts will not be turned down, although they may be sold for profit by me.

And, as a bonus, we will have 2 empty bedrooms, an empty living room, and an empty dining room. If you have storage needs, we have the capacity.

Extreme debt rocks!

Excellent. I’ll bring the kerosene and we’ll have a proper house-warming party.

Screw Las Vegas, let’s head to Georgia!
Mulled wine for everyone!

Congratulations on becoming a ho moaner, Mully!

Congrat’s, it sounds like you have embarked on the road of instant poverty.

I found out about this five years ago: I got married, bought a house, and started a family. I now have fond but distant memories about a concept called “disposable income”.

Seriously, well done. I wish you the best of luck and many happy years in your very own “castle”.

Congrats Mully! That’s a nice part of the Hotlanta area. Hope all the hoops of buying go smoothly for y’all.

If some of these posts are any indication, I may have to incorporate a moat and some weaponry to protect my humble home.

And, disposable income is still around. Combine two people who saved all money as kids and you have a nice downpayment. Combine 2 incomes and we have enough left over for some vague fun. Throw in kids in the next couple of years and be sure to look me up on the nearest street corner.

Where are you in proximity to Kennesaw? I have some good friends that live there.

Kennessaw Mountain is (I think) about 25 minutes northwest of Atlanta, up I-75. Our house will be about 25 minutes ENE of Atlanta if you were to take Highway 78. It may take an hour or so to get from one to the other, but with decent traffic and my normal driving speeds I would hazard a guess of about 45 minutes.

Congratulations Mully! How’s the plumbing? Don’t tell me you didn’t take the John for a test wizz yet!

Congrats, Mully! Welcome to the world of doityourself plumbing and such!

No fair, Coldy, you stole my line!! :stuck_out_tongue:
