vote Zuma
Lynching one lurker is less detrimental than lynching two.
So we got rid of the the guy who wasn’t playing. What do we win?

Then you and I have very very different priorities.
I’ve explained why I want zuma dead.
BlaM has turned up, and so I’m willing to give him Turn 2 to explain himself.
I simply don’t agree that BlaM turning up late is the most anti-town thing I have seen yet, so I don’t feel he should be disintegrated this Turn.
No, the most anti-town thing I have seen yet is your reaction to BlaM turning up. You have created such a hostile environment that he does not feel it is worth offering an explanation of why he turned up late. Refusing to listen to and give due consideration to other player’s statements is suppressing discussion. That is highly anti-Town.
You don’t think that showing up less than two hours before deadline is anti-Town?
I have no idea if Blaster Master is Good or Evil. At this point, I don’t even care.
I’m never playing in a game with Blaster Master ever again.
So can I eye-roll if I was participating Of course listening to me on who to lynch is not likely to be more productive based on recent history.
Of course listening to me on who to lynch is not likely to be more productive based on recent history.
I do agree that the style is annoying as hell though.
Well, for instance, immediately prior to the huge lynch the lurkers rush, there was some interesting discussion about sachetorte’s “Good” slip. The slip, in and of itself I would consider to be rather irrelevant to the manner in which it was being discussed. Then, the manner in which it switches from productive discussion to a “hey let’s lynch the lurkers” seems to me to stink of a distraction ploy. The most interesting reaction in that bunch is Cookies who is quick to jump off of sinjin and Chucara. It looks incredibly fake to me, and combined with her strange attack on me, it just doesn’t make sense at all. So, while I’m on it…
Vote Cookies
Why? And who gets to pick which lurker dies?
Shadowfacts, Please unvote zuma before you go to create a Tie again (if you believe in enforcing the Tie).
Because I don’t believe lynching lurkers is a beneficial strategy. I think voting for Zuma makes it less likely their will be a tie, and I think Blaster will be more helpful than Zuma.
Though I might be convinced to vote for Blaster on behavior rather than lurking. That Cookies vote looks terrible upon first glance.
Can’t do anything about the first.
As for the second :
Vote zuma
Interesting, I’m “forcing” stuff on you? What’s there to digest about my claim? Why in the world would I lie about being Chaotic? And the only proposal I made was regarding a suggestion that everyone claim Lawful or Chaotic? And it’s branded as condescending because people are pushing the whole lynch the lurker thing after so many games where so many people have said it’s a bad idea and explained why. Would you expect me to be any less saddened if someone was pushing the third vote angle? As far as I’m concerned, it’s an equally debunked poor town move.
It sounds to me more like you’re bitter about how I played in the Evil Dead game. If that’s the case, I don’t think it’s relevant here.
“Fake” seems like a gut reaction that would get a lot of false positives on Day/Turn 1 with so little information available. Which is exactly why participation and the net increase in information that it provides, is a “good thing”.
Look, its clear I want Blaster Master dead.
Also look at posts 271 and 272. yesterday, I brought up the possibility of Blaster Master showing up last minute. I wanted to decide then what to do about it.
Now I see some people want a tie and some people want to just lynch zuma.
We have no idea what the majority wants.
I’m not saying to have to agree with me and kill Blaster Master, but we really should have listened to me and DISCUSSED it prior to the LAST MINUTE!
Now we have a few who will be able to push for a zuma only disintegration without the benefit of knowing what everyone wants.
If we are going to lynch a lurker we should lynch both lurkers.
A Chaotic Good player coming out without pressure I find problematic.
I have no bitterness about Evil Dead.
I agree with all of the above. I am currently withholding my vote, but I will be there until the deadline and my current inclination is to cast a vote for Zuma at the deadline if a tie exists.
sach, I understand your position, and it’s regrettable that Blam didn’t participate in the early going. I am much less inclined to be charitable if he is similarly nonparticipative on Turn Two, but given that he is currently adding value and information, and given that the only evidence against him was that he hadn’t yet started playing, I just can’t justify his lynch.
zuma, on the other hand, is likely not planning to play. He will have to die eventually, I guess.
zuma is up by one by my count.
Seriously dude, chill out. If it pisses you off that badly, and it’s causing that much bad blood, I’ll just quit. There is no reason to get so emotional over a game.
Can you clarify?
(I’m sorry to be all with the asking short questions, but time is short and room for elaborately-phrased questions is limited).
No there is plenty of evidence beyond that he “just hadn’t started playing.” Blaster Master logged into SDMB several times during his absence. His profile indicates as such.
He deliberately avoided the game.
How does that make him more likely to be Evil?
