Oh to be clearer on where I stand…I am leaving my votes on Blam and zuma to make it crystal clear where I stand on lurking and/or signing up for a game and then just not participating. To both Blam and zuma, this isn’t personal and I don’t have any hurt feelings, it’s business.
What **storyteller **said.
Tick tock, y’all. Anybody have anything else to say on the subject of Blam vs. zuma vs. everybody else, you have about six minutes-ish.
Fair point.
Just quickly then.
I argued in facour of disintegrating zuma yesterday. I still hold those reasons, plus those just noted.
I did not want to disintegrate BlaM, but since he has said he wishes to drop from the game I will accept this and agree to his disintegration as well.
I believe that killing both at once is the most efficient use of abilities.
Potentially a crucial point. If he is, you’re right, we’ve wasted a pro-Town kill. But if he isn’t, we have forced Scum to waste an extra kill on someone we wanted dead in the first place, which is just as good as a scenario where the Scum take him out using other means.
OK. I’m going to do nothing with my vote, and let both die. I don’t know that it’s the best way, but I don’t know that it’s not, and it will provide us with more information.
If I don’t survive to Turn Two, hawkeyeop probably deserves some mild scrutiny for failing to consider the possibility that Boozahol is Scum, and Cookies pings; Chucara remains suspicious and sinjin slightly less so.
Alright, the Turn is over. Give me a bit to sort out the mess.
You’re free to keep talking, of course.
I thought you meant “Hawkeyeop, your slip is showing”.
I maintain that if the scum really didn’t want Zuma dead, and Booz was scum, the death wouldn’t have occured, so I don’t know that we were forcing the scum to do anything. While in the other scenario they definitely would have needed to take out Zuma themselves. It is a moot point now.
Continuing my interrupted views on BlaM’s Chaotic Good claim.
There isn’t an apples to apples comparison that I can offer form previous games, but my feelings on an unforced CG claim are somewhat similar to someone claiming a Town power role without pressure and without any data with which they can be confirmed. CG is a particular threat to the Evil side of the house because they pose a threat to both the Lawful and the Chaotic sides. I think CG players, by default, probably have more potential targets on them than anyone else. Not a situation you want to be standing up and announcing without a compelling reason. I am not yet convinced that the risk is worth it.
Also, CG can be a very convenient fake claim because it has an instant default layer of extra wifom. “I’m CG, and why would I lie about that? Lies get people lynched and I need to live to win.”
FWIW, I have no hard feelings or wounded principles.
I feel there is valid strategy to targeting low participation in this game. It is not my intention to take up a torch or pitchfork in a game style witch hunt. I am trying to make my arguments within the context and strategies of this game and not in a metagame fashion.

Ok, I take back half of the sigh.
It sucks that we lost two Goods. It doesn’t suck that we lost two Chaotics.
And I’m wondering if the Evils tried to use a Turn kill and failed. There was certainly nothing stopping them from at least trying to get a third body down on the ground since consensus was already taking care of two of them.
Well, it’s possible we could find that out if someone was Watching the appropriate parties involved. Otherwise, seems like that kind of speculation won’t get us anywhere.
I think the real question is: presumably we’ve all gotten reports back from Pleonast on our Actions. Do we reveal and discuss them now? Or is that just providing helpful information for Evildoers to guide their Curse? If we keep it to ourselves until the start of the next Turn, do we risk losing valuable info? Well, duh, the answer is yes, of course, but we need to weigh the risk vs. reward. Thoughts, anyone?
On the Curse.
The Curse, according to the rules, is a delayed-action effect.
So the player who was Cursed in Turn 1 may or may not die on Turn 2 (five chances in six) and may or may not be the person we vote to Disintegrate.
There was no Curse death on Turn 1 because no Curse was placed in Night Zero.
I was not Cursed and no longer have the Helm of Empathy. Thus endeth my report.
Meanwhile, is there a downside to the Cursed player claiming immediately? If (s)he is counterclaimed, then we’ve identified an Evil player somewhere; if (s)he is not counterclaimed, we’ve identified a certain Good player.
