I will, however, respond to this, by saying: I don’t think anyone’s “desperate” to do anything, and have not said that I do. But Scum are by nature opportunistic, and my extended absence coupled with tdpats timely interjection of his hypothesis provided opportunity.

Well, I’d been gone essentially all Day, and the Town just lynched not one but two lurkers. You lead off your attack on me by mentioning my absence. I will concede, however, that the more opportunistic vote of the day was Hawk’s. Of course, he has since withdrawn his vote.
And frankly, I’m pretty sure that either you or Hawk is Scum, but I’m not sure that it’s both. We’ll see.
I hope I’m not coming across as a jerk, because it’s not my intent. But there’s something freeing about simply speaking your mind and not worrying about self-defense; it makes it easier, and more fun, to play.

Nah. I’m finally getting in to this game. Anyone else still around here? I can take Story out with, but that is less than ideal. Lynching on three votes is bad.

No, I don’t deny it. I also don’t deny that in the ongoing off-board game, I DISAPPEARED for the same length of time, and for the same reason.
I also do not deny that I have DISAPPEARED for periods of a few days for various reasons as every possible alignment in many, many games. (And by disappeared, I mean got sick, lost Internet access, had rehearsals or tech week, and so on).
OK, Hawk, so here’s the thing. Some of your responses have shaken my comfort level with my vote for you. However, if I unvote you, it’s just going to put us in a place where we both die. That is definitely suboptimal.
